Weeks 5 of our baby massage course

Week 5 is our graduation week. This is a week of great celebration. We get to cover run-through the entire routine with our babies and celebrate your collective course achievement with a photo opportunity so you can cherish the memories forever.

Book your course or join our waitlist

On booking your course you will be automatically scheduled into our five-week course and will be sent weekly reminders ahead of each weekly class. Should the dates we have advertised not work for you, join our waitlist and register for our mailing list to be kept informed about future course dates.

Weeks 1 through 4 of our baby massage course

Each class is a blend of relaxation, baby yoga, massage, theory and discussion over a cacao and connect. Week 1 we start with the legs and every week we do a full recap of the routine covered the week prior.

What happens beyond this point

By this stage you will likely be beyond six weeks post-partum stage and eligible to return return to gentle exercise. To help further build on the connections you have made during our baby massage course, we offer Mum and Baby Yogalates (a blend of yoga and pilates) every Wednesday morning where the focus is on breathwork, rebuilding your pelvic floor and abdominal strength together with relaxation, followed by our cacao and connect.

What Our Clients Say

Meet Your Massage Instructor

I’m Hannah. I’m a Mum of two and a qualified Baby Massage Instructor & Infant Sleep Coach. From a personal level what brought me to the work of baby massage was my first born. She had colic for the first 16 weeks and cried inconsolably for 6 hours a night. I felt utterly lost and powerless and had no idea what I could do to help. Her cry still triggers me, to this day. Knowing what I know now, I’d like to impart the super power of touch and all the good it can do for a Mothers mental health, well-being, her overall connection with her baby and the benefits that pass to baby as a result.

From a professional level, supporting people through change (transitioning from A to B) has always been my area of expertise. Drawing upon my background in Psychology, Psychoanalysis, Business, Life and Executive Coaching, together with my work in behavioural change means that I take a research and evidence based approach in working with parents.

My objective with baby massage is to be to be a warm host at a delicate party. I want clients to leave feeling like they have been held, heard, seen and empowered.

FAQs

  • Our massage course is suitable for babies from newborn stage up to pre-crawling stage. The first 16 weeks of a babies’ life can be a common time for tummy-related discomforts and massage can prove beneficial in helping to bring some relief to your baby.

  • All babies are fussy at different times of the day. Straight out of utero it can be a big adjustment for you and for your baby. Massage can help to alleviate fussiness but most importantly, in particular as a first-time parent, it can be good for you to see how fussy other babies can be too as a way to normalise your fear from early on.

  • I am an IAIM registered baby massage instructor. Most health insurers will therefore rebate your baby massage course by up to €100. On purchasing your baby massage course you will be sent a receipt with all of the necessary information on it that your health insurers will need to issue you with a refund.

  • For the first 16 weeks of a babies life, their digestive systems can be developing. Massage can help to alleviate symptoms of gas, wind, colic and reflux. Massage is great for helping a baby to develop healthy brain connections from early on through the art of touch. Massage can boost oxytocin levels. This is our love hormone which can help us as parents to feel connected, relaxed and happy.

  • Some mothers are not eligible to drive until six weeks post-partum (especially in the case of c-section deliveries) and can be reliant on a partner or relative for transport. Massage can be a lovely thing to do with a grandparent or partner and we would encourage you to bring someone along with you if this helps. We ask that you flag this to  your instructor in advance where you can so we know to bring extra cacao & cookies.

  • With vaccinations and GP appointments, life can sometimes get in the way. That’s why we arrange for our parents to come to a catch up session at the next baby massage class so nothing is lost and everyone is working from the same baseline of understanding.

  • By joining our waitlist you can be notified of future massage courses before we even advertise them.

  • The price quoted covers multiples too. What we suggest is that you bring a partner or relative with you so each baby can get a carers undivided attention during the class and this way each baby will benefit entirely.
